Description of incident: Crew was replacing 1200 kvar Cap Bank.  After
 the crew had installed the cap bank on the pole the crew proceeded to
energize the bank by closing C phase cutout first to make sure oil
switches would open and close. The oil switches operated with no apparent
 problem( open and closed), with the oil switches in the open position the
crew proceeded to close A & B phase cutouts. When the crew closed B
 phase cutout the fuse blew and the lid blew off of B phase oil switch.
Crew had on all PPE and there were no injuries!!  Follow up: The cap bank will be taken
 to the lab for  observation and testing on Monday morning. More information to follow after
