Attached are a few photos of a snake which found its way on top of one of
our 11kV/690V borefield transformers. He got fried resting his tail on the
body of the transformer and touching his head on the bare connection to the
surge arrestor. The guys in the photos are myself, Russell Lenton and
Richard (The General) Lee. We are all electricians working for Downer
electrical at Century zinc mine in north west Queensland, Australia. It was
up to 54 degrees centigrade out here in December.
