Hello -

 

My name is Julie Rackley and my husband TJ is a journeyman at CenterPoint Energy in Houston, TX.  I went on a tour of Tijuana, Mexico and saw this line work done by residents of an ejido, or communal farm.  These people live in a very poor, rural community called Monclovia Rojas and have done all the construction themselves.  Seeing their work was a revelation to me of how standards of living can be so different so close by.  I am grateful to live in a country where our line work is done by professional men and women, and we can all benefit from the energy it provides.
