Back to Lineman Picture Index

.

We live out in the country. And we were riding down the road and saw this to the left of us. And it caught my eye as weriod, cus weve drove down this road for 7 yrs now and never seen this midget lol. My husbands a lineman (City of Fairburn Utlities) and i called him up thinking, have yall ever ummm made one pole shorter then the other lol

Once we got a lil closer to it, i noticed as a car would go by or the wind would blow it would kinda flow with it. So I called emc out there to look at it to make sure it was either ok or to let them know what we had saw. When Emc got out there, they had no idea the pole was like that, and NO ONE was with out power lol. Phone lines & Power lines were still intact and working fine.
Here are a few pictures of the pole. The pole bascially broke in to 2 pieces. the middle part was on the ground behind it, (it didnt show up in the picture) But the top half of the pole landed perfectly on the phone line and was only held up by that and the lines still connected (and hot)

Thanks
Jen
