I would like to memorialize Jack, as I do and have
been for the last 13 years. It's after a storm like Isabelle and
hearing about fatalities that I still wonder how and why some
fatalities happen. As a crew member of his on the day of the
fatality, I memorialize him daily by working with JL's and
apprentices, (not yelling at them or explaining things like some
people do) , and setting the pace so routine accidents won't happen.
I'll never know if I have saved a life or saved a limb but odds are,
everyone going home at night means I'm doing OK.
