Bobby was man full of life and his love for linework was always shown deep down in his eyes when you looked at them, Packrat worked for the city of New Symrna as a lineman, Bobby "dragged up" from the city a few times in and out and ended up most of his career out of Local 222 in Gainesville, Fla. and in the final days working for Olson Electric out of Holly Hill, Fla. He always give the company a good days work for their pay, and I was treated well when I worked for him, I used to love it when the power company rep. come by one day in the pouring down rain and screamed at us for not being in it working and old PACK give him a piece of his mind and then some ...LOL... good memories ,the tornadoes in Miami the same thing all over again with the power co. rep. asking for more than should be given and Pack give it back in his face, I am running on memory but I think his death was around the end of March in '98, he was re-rodding 230KV up near Jacksonville , Fla. where the shoes did'nt line up and I am told either the shotgun broke down or the ring stick got away from them and he was killed working in close quarters, He will be missed by all who knew him..................former 222 member
