Way back when a lot of houses only had one light
bulb hanging from the ceiling. I was sent on a DIM LIGHT call. The house was a
two room sharecropper house. After checking the voltage and connections
outside. I went inside to check the panel box which was in the kitchen. I
looked at the 100 watt bulb hanging from the ceiling. It was very dim. I
looked at it closer with my flashlight and asked the lady if she would get me
a soapy cloth. I turned the light off and let it cool for a few minutes and
then commenced to wash the bulb. When I turned it back on the light was bright
and the DIM LIGHT problem was solved.
