Dispatch sent co-worker Jeff to a house where they reported that their dog had
died but every time they touched it they'd get shocked. Jeff arrived to see
the deceased canine still chained to the front porch awning support beam. He
removed the dog from the chain with his rubbers and tested the chain for
voltage, 120V. Finally traced the source back to a motion light that had gone
bad and was grounded to the aluminum siding, which the awning was attached to,
which the support was holding up, which the dogs chain was tied to, which was
around the dog's neck, who was standing on the ground.......whew! Hot Dog.
