Here’s a story told to me by another old trouble shooter.
The troubleshooter received a trouble call for a home reporting blinking lights. When he arrived, the customer takes him to the meter location. There was an old A base meter on the service feed.
The trouble shooter reaches up and touch’s meter base. The base was hot, and it knocked him down to both knees.
With that, the customer looks down and states, “Yes sir, that’s what it did to me.”
